Welcome to Trustees’ Week
This week is Trustees’ Week (running from 12th-16th November). It’s an annual opportunity to celebrate the role of the volunteers who help run and lead charities across the UK. £10,000 awarded to help socially isolated adults in North East Lincolnshire
Local charity, the Gardiner Hill Foundation which supports people with mental health problems has been granted a £10,000 National Lottery Award to help combat social isolation in vulnerable adults in North East Lincolnshire. Read on to find out the story about the new ‘Only the Lonely’ project.
GRIMSBY heroes who lost their lives during the Great War are to be remembered during a special service, to be held on the West Marsh.
And the call has gone out for relatives of those lost, along with local residents, to take part in the service, which will be held at the permanent home of the area’s Memorial Cross and is being supported by our IGNITE team. Read on for the whole story.
