Immingham Family Hub benefits from plants from Pier Gardens thanks to Green Influencers

Pier Gardens in Immingham is being redeveloped as part of wider Cleethorpes redevelopment, and as a result many of the current plants need to be moved. North East Lincolnshire Council has very helpfully allowed the Green Influencers programme led by VANEL to dig up and take some of the plants to replant as part of their gardening initiatives locally.

Immingham Family Hub has already been the recipient of some of the plants from Pier Gardens but recently there was a new opportunity to recover more plants which were then able to be used at the Family Hub as part of their 24m long flower bed.

Sam and a couple of volunteers visited Pier Gardens to start by digging up the available plants, which were then transported to the Family Hub in Immingham for replanting. VANEL, Green Influencers, and the Immingham Family Hub are grateful to the Council for the opportunity.
