Join VANEL at a couple of events during August

VANEL team members will be at a couple of events over the next few weeks. Come along to say hello and of course to find out what else is going on.

We’re at the Grimsby in Bloom “Environmental Day” on Wednesday 6th August in Duke of York Gardens, West Marsh. The event is a free event from 11am-3pm and the VANEL team will be there taking about Green Influencers and our environmental projects. We’ll have activities for children to learn more about nature and have some fun.

Next, we’ll be exhibiting at the “Together for Tomorrow” community safety day on Tuesday 12th August in Sutcliffe Park in Nunsthorpe. This event brings together community safety related partners to talk to the community about how to stay safe and well.

We’ll be there explaining about our own efforts at VANEL to support community safety (Neighbourhood Watch, Stay Safe guides, Keeping Older People Safe etc). We’re also there promoting the evolving South Ward Forum which we are supporting as part of the local Clear Hold Build agenda.

The event is 10am-2pm – come and say hello.

(On Wednesday 13th August from 11am-12noon we’ll also be holding our monthly “Community Safety Drop-in” at our offices at 82 Grimsby Road. A casual drop-in to let local residents from North Cleethorpes drop in to chat about their more local concerns).
