This week the VANEL team held a simple, open-door get together at our community hub as part of the Great Get Together encouraged through the Jo Cox Foundation.
Only a small number of people but the weather was good and it was a chance for people to meet, chat, and remember the ethos of the day being ‘more in common’. £40 was raised from the raffle to donate to the Jo Cox Foundation.
It also coincided with the ‘quiz event’ that our shed groups hold each month. So there was a lot of fun around a ‘Pointless’ themed game won by Dave.
