Need to ask advice about community safety issues? If you’re in Sidney Sussex area then pop into our Community Safety drop-ins at our community hub at 82 Grimsby Road.
VANEL now run monthly Community Safety Drop-ins with the Police at our offices, 82 Grimsby Road in Cleethorpes.
These are an opportunity to pick up community safety materials from our offices; ask questions of Police or Karl (re Neighbourhood Watch or scams for example); and to raise any concerns you have about community safety.
We aim these at local Sidney Sussex residents (but anyone is welcome) as we are normally attended by a member of the Sidney Sussex Neighbourhood Policing Team.
The first of our new drop-ins was on 1st October 2025 and was attended by PC David Mickleburgh from the Sidney Sussex team and a couple of residents.
