Since June 2025 we’ve been sending out an experimental email every week or two containing information, news and events related to community safety. Karl prepares these ‘Weeknotes’ to be published on the NELwatch blog and to be sent directly by email to those who are interested.
The emails have been well received and this week we’ve published our 19th edition. Our ‘experiment’ will now keep going as an ongoing part of VANEL’s commitment to community safety locally.

Weeknotes is primarily aimed at Neighbourhood Watch Group Coordinators and volunteers so that they have an up to date source of information to share with their group members. But anyone interested in community safety might find the blog and emails to be useful too. Take a look at the back copies and maybe sign up?
