In the middle of Sea Lane, leading to the Pier, there used to be flower beds.
These beds sat between Dolphin Gardens on one side of the road and Pier Gardens on the other, and together these all formed the Sea Front Gardens.
However, times have changed and the Sea Lane flower beds are no more (at least for 2020). Here’s the view from the Pier looking towards Dolphin Gardens in November 2020.
However, as part of the highways redevelopment in the area in 2020 there has been some bedding plant planting on the roundabout and nearby.
