VANEL’s IGNITE team are holding another Communication Workshop at the VANEL office on Tuesday 23rd May from 15:00 -17:00. The workshop is free to attend for young people aged between 16 and 30. People aged 31+ will be required to pay a £5 fee.
The workshop will cover things such as:
• What do we mean by ‘communication’?
• How to communicate effectively
• A little bit about writing emails/letters
• Using social media to your advantage
• Tips and tricks for communicating in person
• Do’s and don’ts (A little bit about defamation)
• Creating promotional materials
• Copyright and Consent
• Communicating with the press
The workshop is open to anyone over the age of 16. Young people under the age of 18 will need to get their parent/guardian to sign a consent form for you to take part. We can email you this when you book your place.
Places are limited so book asap to avoid disappointment.
