Discovery Communities Event – 8th November 2016

The next Discovery Communities event takes place on Tuesday 8th November at the Custard Factory in the heart of Birmingham’s creative quarter.

This is your chance to join with communities from across the UK to learn about the innovative food waste campaigns being tested in Derbyshire, to hear about the best campaigns from around Europe, to be informed of the latest behaviour change research and to gain insight into future food trends.

You will take part in a novel ‘balloon debate’ deciding which of five great ideas will be awarded a £2,000 prize to help cut food waste in their community.

Most excitingly, there will be an announcement letting you know how you can get more involved with the Sainsbury’s campaign and news of how you can access support for food waste campaigns in your community.  All of this with lunch provided by the amazing Real Junk Food company is free to attend and we are able to cover travel costs.
