Marking your possessions
Should your items go missing or get stolen then marking them or registering them can help with recovery.
Use an UV pen to invisibly write your postcode or number on the item. (Be careful when marking something like an antique).
Photograph items; create an inventory including details like serial numbers and make sure valuable items are covered by your insurance.
