As part of our VCS Safeguarding Support to smaller groups and organisations, we offer:
- Free online resources to help you:
- Make a start with safeguarding using our beginner’s guide, Are They Safe?
- Self-assess and improve your current arrangements using our Standards framework and Safeguarding Tool
- Write policies and procedures using our model templates and examples
- Think about safeguarding from a faith perspective, using our Multi-Faith Safeguarding Hub
- Think about safeguarding in a cultural setting using our Keeping our children safe resource
- Training for Designated Safeguarding Officers (DSOs) and Trustees
- Consultancy support which may, if appropriate, include support with your training needs
- Free membership of our DSO Network for all who have completed our DSO training
- Free specialist information, advice and support, via our enquiry service help@nspcc.org.uk
- Learning opportunities, including, seminars, workshops, webinars
- Outreach work designed and delivered with local and regional partners in response to need
- Opportunities to have your say and showcase your own work by getting involved in our webinars or events
All this in addition to everything else that the NSPCC offers to individuals and organisations working with children
This includes our Helpline services, our national Training and Consultancy services, our customised Knowledge and Information Service, our newsletters and weekly email alerts (CASPAR), access to the latest research, resources and statistics related to protecting and safeguarding children and young people, and much more.
