People with epilepsy in North East Lincolnshire are being offered the opportunity to take part in a short survey where they can highlight their needs and the information and support that would help them.
North East Lincolnshire CCG is looking to review and develop a programme of support and the views and thoughts of those living with epilepsy is an important element of building the right service. They want to ensure the right support and services are in place to enable people diagnosed with epilepsy to understand and manage their condition day to day.
The survey is open to anybody living with epilepsy, their family and carers, whether, newly diagnosed or for patients who have been diagnosed with the condition for a while.
Donna Redhead, Service Manager for the NELCCG said, “We want to engage with patients with epilepsy and understand about their needs and explore the things that will make life easier managing the condition, surrounding things such as information to support their medication, driving, working, going on holiday and other aspects of everyday life. Being provided with the right information can help people manage their epilepsy and it might help people have fewer seizures or it can help them to feel more confident about living with epilepsy.”
