Grimsby Institute open lecture

The Grimsby Institute Group is delighted to announce that the Director of Public Sector Prisons, Mr Ian Mulholland, will be delivering a guest lecture at the University Centre Grimsby.

The lecture which will take place on Wednesday 28th September 2016 from 6pm until 7:30pm, will be a fantastic opportunity to listen to and meet one of the most influential people in the British penal system. The timing of the event could not be any better, given the current prison reform proposals and the reshuffle of the Criminal Justice Ministers, to whom Ian answers. The seminar which is free to attend and open to all, will be an opportune chance for anybody with interest in British Public Prisons, academics, practitioners, students and the wider community, to come together and discuss the future of public sector prisons. Room details are to follow and more details about the topic of the talk will be announced shortly and updated on Eventbrite.

If you wish to attend please contact Darren Woodward (woodwardd@grimsby.ac.uk) or Lewis Simpson (simpsonl@grimsby.ac.uk).  Alternatively you can book a place on line at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/grimsby-school-of-criminology-presents-ian-mulholland-tickets-26778307639.
