COMIC RELIEF BRINGS SPORT RELIEF COMMUNITY CASH TO NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE
Fund worth £25,000 is ready to reach local projects in your community
Sport Relief Community Cash grants of £500 to £1000 are available to small grassroots community organisations (with an annual income of less than £100,000) that are doing great work to help local people living tough lives. Applications are open now, with Lincolnshire Community Foundation working with Comic Relief to get the cash to the groups that need it most.
Applications to apply for Sport Relief Community Cash grants close on Thursday 25th February 2016. Interested groups can find out more by visiting to www.lincolnshirecf.co.uk or by contacting Sue Fortune at the Lincolnshire Community Foundation on 01529 305825 for an informal chat about your project or to answer queries relating to eligibility.
Victoria Southwell, UK Grants Manager at Comic Relief said: “Sport Relief is delighted to be working with the Grimsby Telegraph and offering Sport Relief Community Cash for the first time to local groups in North East Lincolnshire.
We have funded some truly fantastic work in the local area, and are looking forward to seeing some new groups applying. Thanks to the hard work of these groups, money raised through Sport Relief can get right to the heart of the local community and make a real difference where it is most needed. I urge as many groups as possible to get their applications in now for their chance to get a grant from the £25,000 on offer.”
