Franklin College adult learning team are offering a level 2 counselling skills course. If you have colleagues who may be interested please pass this on. Sorry it’s short notice.
The course will be delivered and assessed through a blended learning style. We intend to deliver around 5 x 2-hour classes between January and July with the majority of these being at the start of the course. These sessions will mainly be for the role play part of the course and towards the end of the course as support sessions. Students will be provided with study books and a series of assessments to complete throughout the course. The sessions will take place on a Wednesday 5.30pm-7.30pm and will be a compulsory part of the course. The course cost is £150. We would expect students to have a minimum of GCSE English or functional skills English at level 2 as an entry requirement.
We intend to hold an advice session on Wednesday 13th January between 4.30-6pm so prospective students can look over the study books and ask questions about the course. Prior to the advice session, please let me know if you are interested in the course. Last year was oversubscribed and we did have to turn some people away. First come first served basis.
