Big Lottery: Rob Malyan from Big Lottery will be back in Grimsby on Monday 3rd August to hold 1:1 appointments with any local groups needing to discuss Big Lottery funding applications. You may have a bid already in and need support, or you may need advise on how best to plan your application. Appointments are available throughout the day but are starting to be booked up. Morrisons Foundation: The Morrisons Foundation provides grants towards projects undertaken by registered charities. They is no limit to how much you can apply for, although the project must benefit people in the UK. Full information at www.morrisonsfoundation.com
Healthy Heart Grants: Heart Research UK Healthy Heart Grants of up to £5,000 and up to £10,000 are available for new, original and innovative projects that actively promote Heart Health and help to prevent, or reduce, the risk of heart disease in specific groups or communities. Grocer’s Company – Relief of Poverty fund:
Grants of up to £3,500 can be awarded to charities within the following criteria:
Supports children and young people (0-25 years old) as the main beneficiary
Works in areas of high deprivation
Works to increase social mobility through training courses, better facilities or parenting support
