To all in Immingham and those who are keen to see the town develop in a positive way – the young people of Immingham need your help –
Until the 30th May you have the chance to vote to support the work of YMCA Humber with the young people of Immingham.
YMCA are appealing for your vote to win a £10,000 grant from the Aviva Community Fund.
Money from the fund would be ploughed into developing the charity’s Developing in Life project in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire, which aims to provide the opportunity for young people to make the often difficult transition from Junior School to the local Academy by providing joint support within the Academy to both them and their parents, through the provision of support sessions and alternative activities and the support of YMCA Humber’s Detached Street Outreach Team.
Over the course of a year, if YMCA are successful, the funding will be used on sessions within the academy providing support, and alternative and enjoyable activities delivered in line with the aspirations of young people.
