If you care about where you live, work, study or spend your leisure time, the preparation of the Local Plan will be important to you North East Lincolnshire Council are seeking residents views and are currently carrying out consulation activities. The consultation period runs from the 2 February to the 13 March 2015
Residents are being invited to have their say on North East Lincolnshire councils draft local and meetings have been set up in various locations where someone will be available to explain the document and answer any questions.
There will be two drop in meetings held in Immingham in the Agora, at Immingham Academy, Pelham Road,
Immingham Monday 16 February 2015 6pm to 9pm
Saturday 21st February 9:30 to 12 noon
In addition to these public meetings the Vice Chair Brian Duke has arranged for a representive from North East Lincs Council to attend our March meeting which will be held at the Immingham resource centre 3rd March at 6pm to talk about the Council’s Local Plan, its hopes, fears and recommendations.
The Local Plan is planning for the future in the key sectors: population, climate change, economy, housing, social health, transport, environment, town centres and local facilities, design, minerals and waste. Some Of these matters, if not all of them will be of interest to the community of Immingham Town. So it is important to encourgage community members to get involved in the arranged meetings
