Following our first foray into Immingham last week which was a great success mainly thanks to Jenny’s proactive enthusiasm for getting us started we were back again today…We held our volunteer service team briefing; reviewed all the information on display in the Immingham Resource Centre; had a look at the training courses CERT are currently offering (see www.certtraining.co.uk) and the team went out and about in Immingham town to visit voluntary and community member groups.
Pete is busy updating our member group records on our member management system; Kelly is visiting member groups to identify any new volunteering opportunities we can promote; Liz will be offering on Tuesday mornings at the Immingham Resource Centre DBS checks starting 18th November; Andy will be offering IT software/computer ‘fix-it’ support for member groups; Karl will be offering organisational development support; Jenny is continuing to recruit young volunteers for the Enfuse team.
