I am writing to invite you and your staff members to our special BRIDGEfriends ‘Dream a Dream’ Cabaret Charity Night on Friday 17th October 2014, which will be attended by Mr Mayor, Cllr Alex Baxter. We shall be hosting the event from 7.30pm until late at The Humber Royal Hotel, Grimsby.
This night will support the work of BRIDGEfriends, helping many vulnerable women in our community, exit from chaotic lifestyles of addiction and abuse. Tickets are £15.50 and include a hot buffet, songs from the musicals performed by Heather Hannah and Tony Jewitt, and a disco.
It would be wonderful if you could make it as we know that your work and concerns are also for the welfare of those that we help.
If you can’t make it but feel that you would like to help in other ways then we would welcome any of the following:
- Sponsoring places by purchasing tickets to give a service user the opportunity to attend an event that they could not, ordinarily afford
- Donating a raffle prize
- Passing this email onto people whose concern and work is also focused on those that we reach
The evening will help to raise money which will go towards the purchase of a vehicle, so that the vital work of our outreach can continue. During the evening there will be a short presentation to raise awareness of the problem that exists in Grimsby and how the outreach is supporting vulnerable women.
