Update from the Recycling Project

VANEL staff took up residence on the NELC Recycling trailer setup on the Nunsthorpe estate, in front of Sutcliffe Avenue shops, in Grimsby recently.  VANEL are supporting the Council to increase recycling rates within North East Lincolnshire and to cut down the amount of materials going to landfill. VANEL are also supporting West Marsh Community Centre to develop recycling ideas at the centre.

The recycling trailer has already been into Immingham, the Nunsthorpe Estate and to Laceby where a pilot has taken place. The pilot has seen the fortnightly recycling service extended to take place every week and also now includes plastics and cardboard.
