Helios<\/strong> has been a great experience. For over a month, Helios – a huge representation of our Sun by artist Luke Jerram – hung in Grimsby Minster<\/a> and welcomed so many people to be inspired and create ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During Helios, VANEL\u2019s Green Influencers team were displaying our \u201cOur Caring Sun<\/a>\u201d exhibition too. Inspiring families and young people to think more deeply about the Sun, our environment and how we can interact together around environmental issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Helios is gone, but this was just the start. Helios was part of the Our Future Starts Here programme which will run for five years in total and includes partners (led by VANEL) who are part of a unique approach to connecting people to Climate Action issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope you managed to visit Helios whilst it was there. If not, watch out for whatever comes next!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHAT NEXT FOR VANEL AND GREEN INFLUENCERS?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur Caring Sun\u201d <\/strong>was not just a one-off. The hard work from all involved will go \u2018on tour\u2019 to keep connecting with children locally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First stop will be Littlecoates Academy in West Marsh where it will hopefully be in place for Parents Evening in June. After this we hope to move the displays around venues right up to the end of 2026. The artwork that had been prepared for the display will also be added to over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep an eye on this blog during the year for updates from the tour but the best way to follow it will be via the Green Influencers Facebook page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
