Rural Neighbourhood Networking
<\/strong>National Lottery funded project to connect people across rural North East Lincolnshire<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neighbourhood Watch Management<\/strong>
We host the administration function (through Karl) for overseeing Neighbourhood Watch across North East Lincolnshire and Karl is connected to Humberwatch
We have a separate website at www.nelwatch.org.uk<\/a> for much of our community safety projects
We run Community Safety drop-ins<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fraudwatch<\/a><\/strong>
Funded via Community Vision and the Police and Crime Commissioner to deliver scams\/fraud awareness across NEL<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green Influencers<\/a>
<\/strong>Programme of groups for young people focusing on the environment and targeted through the Little Green Influencers programme<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start for Life<\/strong> funding allows us to run Little Green Influencers<\/strong> groups across all seven Family Hubs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Future Starts Here (Climate Action Fund)<\/a>
Partnership programme funded from the National Lottery led by VANEL as part of a consortium focusing on environmental themes and supporting our Green Influencers approach<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clee Clubs<\/a><\/strong>
Social groups running from our Community Hub<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GRIP CIC<\/strong>
VANEL provides administrative support to the GRIP (Grimsby Retailers in Partnership) business crime reduction partnership<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Big Local North Cleethorpes community hub<\/strong> at 82 Grimsby Road
Hosts our events, monthly meetings and activities, Clee Clubs, Neighbourhood Watch for the area and much more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Household Support Grant<\/strong> funding allows us to run a warmspace<\/strong> at the hub and provide financial resilience work<\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Together residents Forum for South Ward<\/strong>
VANEL leads the development of the residents Forum as an offshoot of the Clear Hold Build (CHB) programme in Nunsthorpe which we also connect to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of our projects and programmes are funding dependent and come and go. Here’s what our team are currently involved with. There’s also a list of our closed or past projects here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We deliver many of our programmes from our offices and community hub at 82 Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whilst the Big Local North Cleethorpes programme recently came to a formal end, VANEL continues to work with partners including Capacity Buildings<\/a> to deliver local initiatives that support the North Cleethorpes area and are still delivered under the Big Local North Cleethorpes<\/a> name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working with Big Local means we are delivering a range of community support programmes in North Cleethorpes including the KOPS programme (Keeping Older People Safe); Stay Safe guides and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VANEL provides the main administration for Neighbourhood Watch across North East Lincolnshire and we have a separate website at www.nelwatch.org.uk<\/a> with information about this and all our community safety and neighbourhood projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our lottery funded Neighbourhood Networking programme<\/a> allows us to support neighbourhood level and resident led groups working in their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re working with two allotments in North East Lincolnshire on an experimental approach to site safety using technology. This Allotment Technology project is funded through the Humberside PCC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Humberside PCC is also funding a programme for VANEL to deliver items of personal or household safety equipment to residents and households across rural wards of North East Lincolnshire. This is our Cache: Rural Rollout project<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are supporting six schools across North East Lincolnshire (including 3 in the Big Local area) with their Green Influencers projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clee Clubs is our project to engage Cleethorpes residents with social activities for their wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We deliver Fraudwatch<\/a> training sessions on Scams and Fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neighbourhood Networking also means we are the administrative point of contact for Neighbourhood Watch in North East Lincolnshire. And Karl is currently the Chair of Humberwatch<\/a> which we are closely involved with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VANEL provides administrative support to the GRIP CIC programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
