Charities, social enterprises and many other groups and organisations use VANEL to promote their volunteering opportunities and to help them find the right people to fill them.<\/span><\/p>\n

So if you\u2019re looking for somewhere to volunteer, check out the range of varied and interesting opportunities we know about. Generally these are local (across North East Lincolnshire).<\/span><\/p>\n

Volunteer Opportunities as of 26th April 2018<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Youth Worker \u2013 Needed on several nights of the week various locations<\/span><\/p>\n

Media Support \u2013 Are you interested in the media industry, either in journalism, photography or filming.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kitchen Assistant \u2013 Help during the afternoon assisting in preparing of meals and serving<\/span><\/p>\n

Painter & Decorator \u2013 Requires experience in painting and the ability to work on your own<\/span><\/p>\n

Driver \u2013 Must have own car, to take individual passengers on journeys<\/span><\/p>\n

Residential Care Befriender \u2013 To befriend an older person who is in a care home but has no visitors<\/span><\/p>\n

Social Group Befriender \u2013 At various venues across North East Lincs<\/span><\/p>\n

Grounds Maintenance & Gardening \u2013 Work at your own pace, taking pride in a small plot of garden<\/span><\/p>\n

Dementia Activity Volunteer \u2013 To support at variety of sessions Inc. Arts\/Crafts\/Gardening\/Dancing<\/span><\/p>\n

Dementia Community Volunteer \u2013 The ultimate aim of this role is to provide a volunteer service you would be happy for your family to use<\/span><\/p>\n

Befriender \u2013 To befriend older people on a one-to-one basis in their own home<\/span><\/p>\n

Retail Assistant \u2013 Retail shops across, Grimsby, Cleethorpes & Immingham<\/span><\/p>\n

Admin Assistant \u2013 Work is varied, must have good organisational skills<\/span><\/p>\n

Patient Support \u2013 Offering much needed support, from meeting & greeting and making and serving refreshments<\/span><\/p>\n

Assistant Scout Leaders \u2013 Working with young people, at weekly meetings<\/span><\/p>\n

Appropriate Adult Support \u2013 Provides a service to Young People in Police Custody<\/span><\/p>\n

Youth Offending Panel Member \u2013 To sit on a panel that meets with young offenders<\/span><\/p>\n

Telephone Befriending \u2013 Giving a regular call to someone who may be in need of a friendly ear<\/span><\/p>\n

Regional Support Coordinator \u2013 To help raise much needed funds & encourage local support<\/span><\/p>\n

Fundraiser \u2013 Help organise local events to raise funds<\/span><\/p>\n

Collection Box Coordinator \u2013 To place & collect boxes with local organisations<\/span><\/p>\n

photographer \u2013 Take pictures at local events as when required<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaker \u2013 To promote awareness of charity locally<\/span><\/p>\n

Writer \u2013 Passionate & Creative writers, who can help clients tell their story<\/span><\/p>\n

Hair Studio Assistant \u2013 Assisting in local charity salon<\/span><\/p>\n

Basic Vehicle maintenance & Cleaner \u2013 Carry out weekly vehicle checks<\/span><\/p>\n

Handy Person \u2013 Help with onsite odd jobs<\/span><\/p>\n\n
