{"id":18775,"date":"2018-03-23T09:29:00","date_gmt":"2018-03-23T09:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/?p=18775"},"modified":"2018-03-23T09:29:00","modified_gmt":"2018-03-23T09:29:00","slug":"feedback-from-the-recent-volunteer-managers-network-meeting-and-welcome-onboard-to-a-new-volunteer-development-service-member","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/2018\/03\/feedback-from-the-recent-volunteer-managers-network-meeting-and-welcome-onboard-to-a-new-volunteer-development-service-member\/","title":{"rendered":"Feedback from the recent Volunteer Managers Network meeting and welcome onboard to a new Volunteer Development Service member"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">Thank you very much to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.standrewshospice.com\/\">St Andrews\u2019 Hospice<\/a> who provided the venue for the March meeting of the <a href=\"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/volunteer-managers-network\/\">Volunteer Managers Network<\/a> (VMN).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">There were plenty of people attending with plenty of discussion around a wide range of topics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">Jacky and Liz from VANEL were hosting the session as always. There was a briefing on <a href=\"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/tag\/gdpr\/\">GDPR<\/a> from Karl at VANEL then an update on the <a href=\"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/projects\/blue-lights-brigade\/\">Blue Lights Brigade programme<\/a> from Steve Lynn. Discussions were held about early preparations for Volunteers\u2019 Week in June and the V:Expo event that will be taking place in Grimsby at around the same time.
