They prioritise work that is unattractive to the general public or unpopular with other funders. Applications are ongoing. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yappcharitabletrust.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Find out more here<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hedleyfoundation.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hedley Foundation<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nThe Hedley Foundation assists and encourages development and change. Most grants are capital or one-off, but the Trustees sometimes agree to help fund the introduction of new and innovative projects with a series of up to three annual grants.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Deadline 22 October.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ford.co.uk\/experience-ford\/about-ford\/ford-britain-trust\" target=\"_blank\">Ford Britain Trust<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nFord are committed to supporting the communities they work and live in. That\u2019s why they created the Ford Britain Trust in April 1975 to help fund the education and advancement of neighbours. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Deadline 30 October.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.golsoncott.org.uk\/guidelines.html\" target=\"_blank\">Golsoncott Foundation<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nThe Golsoncott Foundation aims to promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public in the arts generally and in particular the fine arts and music. This includes providing access to the arts for young people and developing new audiences.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Deadline 30 October.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/grants.localgiving.org\/pct\/?utm_content=buffera8cc5\" target=\"_blank\">Magic Little Grants Fund<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nLocalgiving has teamed up with Postcode Community Trust to provide a free annual Localgiving membership and a grant of either \u00a3250 or \u00a3500 to small charities and community groups that are delivering engaging physical activities, to help overcome barriers to participation.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.steelcharitabletrust.org.uk\/grant_policy.htm\" target=\"_blank\">The Steel Charitable Trust<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nThe Steel Charitable Trust is a grant-making trust supporting general charitable purposes. It is the policy of the Trustees to make grants to a wide range of charitable bodies, including those mentioned in the Deed of Settlement.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/corporate.wilko.com\/stories\/supporting.php\" target=\"_blank\">Wilkinsons &#8211; Helping Hands<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nHelping Hands is a community initiative where each local store has a budget to distribute to projects and schemes within the stores local community.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.warburtons.co.uk\/corporate\/responsibility\/best-for-the-community\/financial-giving\" target=\"_blank\">Warburtons<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nWarburtons supports charities and the community in three ways: with financial support, product donations and the personal involvement of individual people &#8211; both Warburton family members and employees. Our main focus is on grass roots activities that have a positive effect on the aspirations, education, skills and employability of young people, as well as projects that are centred on family life, promoting healthier lifestyles and contributing to improvements in the local community.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowdfunder.co.uk\/funds\/changemaker\" target=\"_blank\">Santander Changemaker<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nThis is a fund to help social enterprises, small charities and community groups to deliver projects in the UK that create innovative solutions to improve communities. Santander has \u00a3200,000 to support Changemakers who turn to the Crowd to make great ideas happen. The Changemaker Fund has been created to support projects that help disadvantaged people to have confidence in the future by building skills and knowledge or innovative ideas that help communities prosper. If you have a project which the Crowd support Santander will provide the final 50% to help you reach your target.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenews.coop\/121812\/sector\/new-co-op-partnership-launched-support-community-projects\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Co-op Foundation and Co-operative &amp; Community Finance<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nThe Co-op Foundation and Co-operative &amp; Community Finance have partnered up to develop a new programme of grants and social investments to support community-run enterprises in disadvantaged areas across the UK.
