{"id":15092,"date":"2017-07-20T16:16:13","date_gmt":"2017-07-20T15:16:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/?p=15092"},"modified":"2017-07-21T10:12:55","modified_gmt":"2017-07-21T09:12:55","slug":"move-a-good-news-story","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/2017\/07\/move-a-good-news-story\/","title":{"rendered":"MOVE: A Good News Story"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Voluntary Action North East Lincolnshire is proud to be one of 24 partner organisations delivering the <a href=\"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/projects\/move-on\/\">MOVE<\/a> Project across Greater Lincolnshire.<\/p>\n<p>MOVE works with to encourage people who are currently out of work to use volunteering\/training as a way of gaining new skills and updating their C.V. The aim of the project is to help people who are for what ever reason unemployed, working again.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last few months, MOVE client Derek Brasted has been working with VANEL&#8217;s MOVE Advisor Peter Hewson. Derek has overcome significant health issues in his life and does not let anything stop him from achieving his goals. The secret to his success is that Derek remains active and maintains a positive outlook on everything that he does. He has been working tirelessly with Peter to try and better himself and believes in taking advantage of every opportunity for self-improvement that befalls him. It brings together a strong network of 24 local third sector organisations to build on existing employability services and provide a more consistent, accessible and joined up support.
