{"id":13250,"date":"2017-01-03T11:45:50","date_gmt":"2017-01-03T11:45:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/?p=13250"},"modified":"2017-01-03T11:45:50","modified_gmt":"2017-01-03T11:45:50","slug":"ccg-diabetes-patient-education-survey-closing-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/2017\/01\/ccg-diabetes-patient-education-survey-closing-soon\/","title":{"rendered":"CCG Diabetes Patient Education Survey closing soon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"EN\"><strong>North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group<\/strong> is currently looking at ways to improve education for those with Type 2 diabetes and would like to gain public views.<\/p>\n<p>Currently in North East Lincolnshire, if you are diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes you will be offered the opportunity to attend an education programme called \u201cDESMOND\u201d. At the moment this is open to those up to 1 year after they are diagnosed. We are exploring the option to offer diabetes education for all those with type 2 diabetes, not just those who are newly diagnosed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>A short survey is now available online<\/strong> for people who have Type 2 diabetes or for those who have a family member or friend with Type 2 diabetes.
