Our project \u2013 \u201cYoung Leaders\u201d \u2013 will enable us to support and encourage younger people into local voluntary and community sector leadership roles, whether that\u2019s on trustee boards, on committees, in steering groups or leading on community projects.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re just about to start up, so keep an eye out for more news in the coming weeks. But you might be able to get involved\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Is your board or committee interested in getting younger people (18-25years) involved? Would you value their input into steering and leading your organisation?<br \/>\nWould you be interested in sharing your own leadership or trusteeship skills with people younger than yourself \u2013 perhaps as a mentor or simply through our networks?<br \/>\nOr, if you are of a younger generation yourself, would you be interested in stepping up and taking more of a local leadership role?<\/p>\n<p>If any of these apply, then we\u2019d really like to hear from you so that you can be involved from the very outset of the project.
