We also want to support local communities to do more for themselves and for each other. This is across all areas of health and care, including urgent and emergency care services, long term health conditions and services for women and children. We will also be looking at new approaches to supporting people to stay as healthy and fulfilled as possible, including social prescribing and support to care homes.

The event will have a mixture of presentations and discussions groups on topics such as:

Quality services in the NHS – what does quality mean to patients in North East Lincolnshire?

Doing the right thing – deciding how social care money is spent locally?

Social prescribing – a different approach to improving health and well-being.

Where to turn – how can we ensure information, advice and guidance services are right for people in our community?

There will also be more informal opportunities to speak to NHS Staff, commissioners and other community members.

Mark Webb, CCG chair, said: “As a CCG it is essential that we work closely with North East Lincolnshire Council and share a joint vision for the future of health and social care. I know both our organisations are committed to involving local people in how we shape and deliver future services.
