Training<\/strong><\/h6>\n

VANEL provides both scheduled and bespoke training courses on a variety of developmental themes.<\/p>\n

Our most common themes are:
\nVolunteering support
\nGovernance, Trusteeship or Leadership
\nTechnology, websites, social media, cyber security and digital competence
\nSafeguarding<\/p>\n

We schedule courses throughout the year – and dates and details usually are available on our online calendar here<\/a>. However, very often, after discussing requirements and issues with organisations we very commonly schedule bespoke training according to their needs.<\/p>\n

There is always a cost for training. However, if we are running a project that helps provide training, workshops or briefings then those particular sessions may be subsidised to keep the costs down – often to the extent of making courses ‘free’ to attend.<\/p>\n

Often organisations in paid up membership of VANEL will also qualify for a further price discount.<\/p>\n

Booking is always essential for training courses.\u00a0 Again, member organisations will have preference when making bookings if places are limited.<\/p>\n

Every session has it’s own ‘rules’ for booking – please see details of the course itself.<\/p>\n
