The VANEL Annual General Meeting for 2023<\/strong>\u00a0will take place<\/p>\n

on Thursday 19th October 2022, at 12.45pmpm
\nat Canopy Community Hub, Grant Thorold Park, Grimsby
\nas part of our Pumpkin Party event<\/a> (12.45pm – 3.30pm)<\/p><\/div> \n

This AGM covers our financial year 2022-23 and is open to representatives from all VANEL Member and Friend organisations.<\/p>\n

Save the date in your diary.<\/p>\n

    Attending the AGM<\/h3>\n

    The AGM will start at 1.30pm in the main meeting room at the Canopy Community Hub, accessed through the cafe.<\/p>\n

    The AGM itself will probably be complete by 1.45pm.<\/p>\n

    Visitors are welcome to attend any time between 1pm and 3.30pm as we will be running an ECO fayre day – our “Pumpkin Party” – both to demonstrate the wide range of green projects that VANEL has been involved with and also to do some ECO fundraising!<\/p>\n

    Parking is on street around the park.<\/p>\n

    Anyone representing a VANEL Member or Friend or partner organisation is welcome to attend. \u00a0Paid up VANEL members are the only ones allowed to vote on matters where voting is required.<\/p>\n

    Nominations for new Trustees<\/h3>\n

    Annually, we review the membership of our Executive Committee (the Trustees) and nominations for new Trustees are now open. \u00a0Nominees are then interviewed and put forward for election at the AGM itself. \u00a0Nominees must be an authorised representative of a local member organisation.<\/p>\n
