Volunteers Week event from VMN and VANEL @ The Barge, Grimsby
Jun 6 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

On Thursday 6th June, members of the Volunteer Managers Network and our Volunteer Centre will be outside The Barge in Grimsby, along with Hattie the Community Bus, to hold a Volunteer Celebration Event. We’re there from 10am-3pm. If you’re a volunteer, thinking of volunteering, need volunteers or already host them, we’d love to see you during the day. World Oceans Day event

Make Music Event at Grimsby Minster for Make Music Day @ Grimsby Minster, Grimsby

Come and celebrate the longest day of the year and be part of a global festival of music!

This year, as part of the revived St. James’ Festival at Grimsby Minster, the IGNITE team at VANEL are organising an event in Grimsby to celebrate Make Music Day.

Make Music Day is a global festival of music that takes place on the 21st June every year and IGNITE are looking for singers and musicians who are interested in taking part.

We are looking for music makers of any age, skill level and musical style. If you are interested in playing at this event please contact ignite@vanel.org.uk or call 01472 315437 for more information.

The event will take place from 10am3pm on Friday 21st June.

This is now the largest event on the East coast of England thanks to the support of our visitors, sponsors and local businesses. With a host of displays, parades, entertainment and trade stands we have something for everyone.

Heritage Open Day Cleethorpes

As part of Heritage Lincolnshire Heritage Open Days, there is an open event at Cleethorpes Town Hall on Sat 14th September 2019

Meggies Heritage along with Cleethorpes Charter Trustees welcomes you to WWII Cleethorpes.

The exhibition focuses on local preparations for war, with highlights including healthcare pre-NHS, casualties and personal memories as well as Blitz Kidz DVD which evocatively explores wartime childhood.
