Volunteers Week event from VMN and VANEL @ The Barge, Grimsby
Jun 6 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

On Thursday 6th June, members of the Volunteer Managers Network and our Volunteer Centre will be outside The Barge in Grimsby, along with Hattie the Community Bus, to hold a Volunteer Celebration Event. We’re there from 10am-3pm. If you’re a volunteer, thinking of volunteering, need volunteers or already host them, we’d love to see you during the day. World Oceans Day event

on Saturday 8th June join us for a World Oceans Day event at Cleethorpes Discovery Centre from 10am-3pm for litter picks, photographic competition, plastic sculpture workshops, arts and crafts and more. This is now the largest event on the East coast of England thanks to the support of our visitors, sponsors and local businesses. With a host of displays, parades, entertainment and trade stands we have something for everyone.

ESIF Compliance Workshop

ESIF Compliance Workshop

This workshop is part of a suite of workshops run by the Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP), promoting the ESIF programme and supporting potential applicants to apply for ERDF and ESF funding across the Humber, York and North Yorkshire areas.

This workshop will cover State Aid, publicity, document retention and procurement compliance requirements for ERDF and ESF.

The workshop will be held at the Hilton Hotel, York (opposite Clifford’s Tower) on 9 July 2019 at 10.00am.
Registration will be open from 9.45am.

The morning session will cover:
·        State Aid (basic introduction)
·        Publicity and regulations

A buffet lunch will be served at approximately 12.30pm.
The afternoon session will cover:
·        Procurement (basic introduction)
·        Document retention

Heritage Open Day Cleethorpes

As part of Heritage Lincolnshire Heritage Open Days, there is an open event at Cleethorpes Town Hall on Sat 14th September 2019

Meggies Heritage along with Cleethorpes Charter Trustees welcomes you to WWII Cleethorpes.

The exhibition focuses on local preparations for war, with highlights including healthcare pre-NHS, casualties and personal memories as well as Blitz Kidz DVD which evocatively explores wartime childhood.

It will be between 10am and 3pm. Information and guidance about a whole host of issues for older people.
