North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group is currently looking at ways to improve education for those with Type 2 diabetes and would like to gain public views.
Currently in North East Lincolnshire, if you are diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes you will be offered the opportunity to attend an education programme called “DESMOND”. At the moment this is open to those up to 1 year after they are diagnosed. We are exploring the option to offer diabetes education for all those with type 2 diabetes, not just those who are newly diagnosed.
A short survey is now available online for people who have Type 2 diabetes or for those who have a family member or friend with Type 2 diabetes. Follow the link for further information.
