The NAVCA Impact Summit 2016 was held today at Birmingham Voluntary Service Council and Paula Grant, VANEL Chief Officer took part in this excellent conference entitled ‘Helping our members reach above the clouds…’. The conference explored potential moves for local infrastructure and there were a range of infrastructure workshops exploring with fellow officers from across the country questions like, what can infrastructure do for me; what commissioning barriers do we need to overcome; how to present great offers to commissioners; single points of contact/contract; universal service offers; better services for local people…
Key Speakers were: Andrew O’Brien Charity Finance Group; Immy Kaur Impact Hub Birmingham; and Neil McInroy Centre for Local Economic Strategies.
