Since we\u2019ve been mapping green spaces and places across the area, it\u2019s clear that there is plenty of bird life to observe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">With a large country park, a nature reserve and the estuary and <span class=\"__postbox-detected-content __postbox-detected-date\">sand<\/span> dunes, it\u2019s clear that the area as a whole is important for bird life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A recent article on the Council website demonstrates this by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nelincs.gov.uk\/internationally-important-wildlife-making-its-home-in-north-east-lincolnshire\/\"><span class=\"s2\">explaining about rare birds making their home in the area<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Now, you\u2019re not likely to see a rare bird sat in the pond at Sidney Park, but what birds are out there?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/avibase.bsc-eoc.org\/checklist.jsp?lang=EN&amp;p2=1&amp;list=howardmoore&amp;synlang=&amp;region=UKen03ne&amp;version=images&amp;lifelist=&amp;highlight=0\">There\u2019s a register of the nearly 200 species of bird that are common for North East Lincolnshire here<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s1\">. So if you\u2019re interested you can find out more about them and what they look and sound like. Maybe you can spot a few.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you get out and explore our local parks, spaces and green places then you might be able to spot some of our native bird life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you have more of an expertise in birds than we do, we\u2019d be interested to hear from you.
