Sussex Recreation Ground is situated on Brereton Avenue in Cleethorpes.
A new play area was built through the Department for Children Schools and Families Playbuilder project.
The facilities on offer include; bowls, one full size football field, four floodlit tennis courts, the Pavilion and the aforementioned new play area.
The Pavilion:
Sidney Sussex Community Group, who are a not for profit organisation, manage The Pavilion as a community venue.
The building was built in 1934 at a cost of £1866.00 and stands in Sussex Recreation Ground, land that was gifted to Cleethorpes by Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.

Big Local North Cleethorpes and its volunteers were responsible for bringing back the Pavilion for community use at a cost of £50,000.
