A virtual Cleethorpes Low Tide trail

Not strictly ‘green’, but if you’re walking and exploring the sea front around Cleethorpes Pier then here’s a completely different way of looking at some features around the area.
Visit this webpage (from your mobile phone is good whilst you’re out walking) to find out about some of the features of interest around the area.
It’s an interactive trail showing you some interesting features including the onshore Ross Castle folly, but very interestingly some of the offshore features including the submerged forest! Not safe to get to so have a look via the online tour and then have a read of this article which explains more about the forest.
Does a forest count as Green Cleethorpes even if it’s been dead and buried for thousands of years?
Visit the tour here.
Read about the forest here.
