As you maybe aware as from 1 June 2014 the Humberside Probation Trust dissolved and Probation Services split in to Two separate companies.<\/p>\n
The National Probation Service continues to have the overall management and supervision of all high risk offenders in England and Wales whereas, the Community Rehabilitation Company continues the management and supervision all low to medium risk offenders.<\/p>\n
It has now been confirmed that The Community Rehabilitation Company will be owned by \u201cPurple Futures\u201d which are part of the Interserve group within the private sector.<\/p>\n
We are now known as Humberside Lincolnshire & North Yorkshire Community Rehabilitation Company, which as the name indicates, covers a larger contract package area, however the providers we work with and the projects we undertake continue to be localised and specifically targeted to low \/ medium risk offender groups.<\/p>\n

We already have excellent links with Local Authorities, Parish Councils and Charity Organisations. We can provide free Labour for : Painting, Gardening, Litter picking, Leaflet dropping, Clearances, Cleaning and Graffiti removal to name a few.<\/p>\n

These recent changes bring some new and exciting opportunities for us to expand, develop and utilise Community Payback and the beneficiaries we work alongside.<\/p>\n
We are exploring options of increasing Agency provision , building relationships with Community Links and developing evening work for offenders.<\/p>\n
This maybe some thing your organisation would like to take advantage of.<\/p>\n
We are keen to \u201cmatch\u201d offenders and their strengths\/interests to relevant agencies, as we feel this would increase compliance and provide a \u201cwork experience\u201d approach which will increase employment and training opportunities, thus reducing the likelihood of re-offending.<\/p>\n
As you will be aware, multi agencies working brings mutual benefits for all partners including: Sharing resources, skills and experiences, being cost effective, providing free labour , inspiring positive change and increasing employment opportunities to name a few.<\/p>\n
