We would like to invite you to the grand unveiling on Friday March 13, 2pm at Thorpe Park.<\/p>\n<p>The Gardiner Hill Foundation is a local charity launched by NAViGO in 2011. The charity was established to enhance and enrich the lives of people with mental health problems and to promote good mental health. The Gardiner Hill Foundation works alongside and supplements core funded essential services provided to people with mental health problems. Its principle aim is to support people with mental health issues in ways which empower them, by encouraging and supporting education and training, employment and independent living. All of our trustees and support staff are volunteers, which mean all donations will help people in North East Lincolnshire living with mental health problems.<\/p>\n<p>The Gardiner Hill Foundation pledged that all donations it received would make a difference to those living with mental health problems in North East Lincolnshire and therefore by using donations to buy a caravan in such a popular local resort, it gives those living with mental health conditions and their carers in the area the chance to have an affordable holiday.<\/p>\n<p>The 8 berth, deluxe caravan is one of the most popular accommodation options at the holiday park. The spacious, open plan environment and stylish interiors means service users will be able to enjoy a country and coastal retreat with a comfortable place to put their feet up at the end of the day. As well as offering a scenic location to relax in, Thorpe Park offers a multitude of activities such as a climbing wall, swimming and sports \u2013 and a bar and restaurant to re-charge batteries afterwards!<\/p>\n<p>Tom Hunter, Chairman of Navigo and the Gardiner Hill Foundation ,said<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am delighted that this new caravan will be now available to offer a wonderful\u00a0 opportunity for NAViGO users and carers to take relaxing breaks. \u201c<\/p>\n<p>NAViGO Health and Social Care Community Interest Company provide NHS mental health and social care services free to the residents of North East Lincolnshire. Our main objective is to deliver the highest quality care and to work to our mission to provide services that we would be happy for our own family to use. The way NAViGO works is completely unique as an NHS service provider.
