If you are a new Trustee recently joined a Charity board, then depending upon your induction, you may still have a lot of unanswered questions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The same may apply if you\u2019re still thinking about becoming a Trustee for the first time, or even if you\u2019ve been in the role for a while you may still have questions as to what this role of Trustee really involves.<\/strong><\/p>\n

VANEL can help.\u00a0 We\u2019re repeating our \u201cRoles and Responsibilities of Trustees\u201d training session on 30th January 2015 after the success of our session run during National Trustees\u2019 week in November.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The two hour training course will help Trustees learn:

\nwhat they should do
\nwhat they could do
\nhow to behave
\nhow to be useful to the organisation
\nhow to learn and develop themselves and gain from trusteeship
\nhow to get support
\nhow to work as an individual trustee but also as part of the team

\nTrusteeship \u2013 an opportunity and a responsibility<\/strong>
\nThe legal trustee<\/strong>
\nThe principled trustee<\/strong>
\nThe purposeful trustee<\/strong>
\nThe well behaved trustee<\/strong>
\nThe skilled trustee<\/strong>
\nThe effective trustee<\/strong>
\nThe supported trustee<\/strong><\/p>\n

So if you would like to quickly learn much more about this role as a Trustee, come along to this course.<\/p>\n

Friday 30th<\/sup> January 2015<\/strong>
\n10am \u2013 12noon<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>at West Marsh Community Centre in Grimsby<\/p>\n

The cost of this session is currently being kept very low – \u00a35 per person for Member or Friend organisations or \u00a310 for individuals from other organisations.<\/p>\n

Space can be very limited, so we may need to restrict to a maximum of three attendees per organisation.<\/p>\n
