{"id":3956,"date":"2014-11-11T14:08:51","date_gmt":"2014-11-11T14:08:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/?p=3956"},"modified":"2014-11-11T14:08:51","modified_gmt":"2014-11-11T14:08:51","slug":"were-going-mobile-volunteer-brokerage-service-for-volunteers-and-vanel-members-how-can-we-help-you-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/2014\/11\/were-going-mobile-volunteer-brokerage-service-for-volunteers-and-vanel-members-how-can-we-help-you-service\/","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019re Going Mobile &#8211; Volunteer Brokerage Service for volunteers and VANEL members \u201chow can we help you? service\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following our first foray into Immingham last week which was a great success mainly thanks to Jenny\u2019s proactive enthusiasm for getting us started we were back again today\u2026We held our volunteer service team briefing; reviewed all the information on display in the Immingham Resource Centre; had a look at the training courses CERT are currently offering (see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.certtraining.co.uk\">www.certtraining.co.uk<\/a>) and the team went out and about in Immingham town to visit voluntary and community member groups.<\/p>\n<p>Pete is busy updating our member group records on our member management system; Kelly is visiting member groups to identify any new volunteering opportunities we can promote; Liz will be offering on Tuesday mornings at the Immingham Resource Centre DBS checks starting 18<sup>th<\/sup> November; Andy will be offering IT software\/computer \u2018fix-it\u2019 support for member groups; Karl will be offering organisational development support; Jenny is continuing to recruit young volunteers for the Enfuse team.<\/p>\n<p>We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday at the Immingham Resource Centre or if you are based in and around the Immingham area we are happy to visit you for an update!<\/p>\n<!--themify_builder_content-->\n<div id=\"themify_builder_content-3956\" data-postid=\"3956\" class=\"themify_builder_content themify_builder_content-3956 themify_builder tf_clear\">\n    <\/div>\n<!--\/themify_builder_content-->\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The service offered by the Volunteer Centre is changing.
