So far, the prediction is for temperatures to be slightly higher than average with some rain; this information has come from the longer term forecast at the Met Office (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.metoffice.gov.uk\">www.metoffice.gov.uk<\/a>).\u00a0 I have been following the reports from some other weather forecasters and they are clear on the fact that there is currently no snow expected.<\/p>\n<p>This does not mean that it\u2019s not going to snow this winter!!!!! It also doesn\u2019t mean that we should ignore the possibility of extreme snow either. I will still be found out and about talking to groups and promoting the need to be prepared.<\/p>\n<p>With Christmas fast approaching we all spend time stocking up on frivolities, so why not get a few extra, long life staples just in case.
