It reflects on the past, present and potential future for civil society, volunteering, communities and more. It is well worth taking stock of what\u2019s in the report as this is likely to drip feed into government policies, funding and community approaches in the coming months and years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Not everything will be agreed upon and many proposals may not come to pass, and the reviews and assessments of what the report includes have begun. Make sure you\u2019re keeping up with the conversation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Levelling-Up-Our-Communities-Danny-Kruger.pdf\">The report is here<\/a> along with <a href=\"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Press-release-Report-for-government-calls-for-a-new-era-of-\u2018community-power\u2019.pdf\">the press release<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncvo.org.uk\/2020\/09\/23\/the-kruger-report-the-start-of-a-serious-conversation-about-charities-and-volunteering\/\">An initial assessment from NCVO is here<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s3\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mailchi.mp\/smallcharities\/out-today-danny-kruger-report?e=5ce385b40e\">Here\u2019s an in depth review from SCC<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s3\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">There will be more to come.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">After a very different 2020 there are a range of reports being publish that reflect on the current situation in our communities, with the charitable and voluntary sector and more. All of them provide some potential context for our work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">There\u2019s a report from Onward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukonward.com\/socialfabric\/\"><span class=\"s2\">here &#8211; \u201cThe State of our Social Fabric.\u201d<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">NCVO have published their latest assessment of the sector in <a href=\"https:\/\/publications.ncvo.org.uk\/beyond-charities\/\"><span class=\"s4\">\u201cBeyond Charities. Looking at Wider Civil Society\u201d<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">And a Local Trust report <a href=\"https:\/\/localtrust.org.uk\/news-and-stories\/blog\/resilience-now\/\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cBeyond Resilience.
