I do enjoy it, and it has done wonders for my confidence \u2013 it has got me talking to people again too,\u201d said John.<\/p>\n<p>The 64-year-old is currently recovering from a bout of ill-health and is now looking to get back into paid work. He has previously enjoyed successful careers in the leisure industry, adult education, the care sector and in the health &amp; safety profession.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no doubt that I, like many people, have built up many skills over the years, but you tend to forget how much you do actually know and can offer.
