{"id":15234,"date":"2017-08-18T09:30:23","date_gmt":"2017-08-18T08:30:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/?p=15234"},"modified":"2017-09-06T14:17:06","modified_gmt":"2017-09-06T13:17:06","slug":"west-marsh-volunteer-awards-open-for-nominations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/2017\/08\/west-marsh-volunteer-awards-open-for-nominations\/","title":{"rendered":"West Marsh Volunteer Awards open for nominations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">After <a href=\"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/2016\/12\/volunteer-awards-night-at-cue-world\/\" target=\"_blank\">last years successful \u201c<strong>Volunteer Awards<\/strong>\u201d<\/a>, <strong>West Marsh Community Centre<\/strong> is once again asking for you to nominate the volunteers you feel have made important contributions to the community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The awards themselves are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">open for nominations until <span class=\"__postbox-detected-content __postbox-detected-date\">Wednesday 13th September 2017<\/span><\/span> and after judging there will be a glittering awards presentation event at Cue World in <span class=\"__postbox-detected-content __postbox-detected-date\">Grimsby on 28th September.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Categories for nominations are similar to last year:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Young Volunteer<br \/>\nSenior Volunteer<br \/>\nSports Coach<br \/>\nDance\/Art\/Music volunteer<br \/>\nTeam or Group award<br \/>\nLong Service Awards<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">There will also be a judges award.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Volunteers-Night-10th-September-2016.pdf\" rel=\"\">Find out more about the categories here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Nomination forms should be returned to VANEL by the closing date of <span class=\"__postbox-detected-content __postbox-detected-date\">13th Sept.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/WMCC_nomination_form2.docx\" rel=\"\">The nomination form is here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>(note that this is an updated nomination form which includes a space for the reason the volunteer is being nominated.
