{"id":15084,"date":"2017-07-20T13:42:49","date_gmt":"2017-07-20T12:42:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/?p=15084"},"modified":"2017-07-20T13:42:49","modified_gmt":"2017-07-20T12:42:49","slug":"upcoming-funding-surgeries-next-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/2017\/07\/upcoming-funding-surgeries-next-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming Funding Surgeries Next Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>VANEL are holding a variety of funding surgeries next week on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th July at the VANEL office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HYA Funding Surgery<br \/>\n<\/strong>Tuesday 25th July with Richard Wendel-Jones.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/projects\/humberside-youth-association-funding\/\">Humberside Youth Association Grant<\/a> Fund (HYA) is still available for applications. Round 2 closed recently with a number of successful applicants (<a href=\"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/2017\/06\/humber-youth-association-round-3-now-open\/\">read that story here<\/a>) and Round 3 is now open. The dates for this and round 4 have altered, so you now have until 29th September to get your applications in for round 3.\u00a0 Remember it\u2019s up to \u00a3500 for individuals and \u00a32500 for groups available for projects that provide activities that could develop young peoples\u2019 physical, mental or spiritual capacities (for those aged 18-24).\u00a0 Applications are via VANEL.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/projects\/humberside-youth-association-funding\/\">All the details and information is here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tribune Trust Funding Surgery<br \/>\n<\/strong>Tuesday 25th July with Paul Chessman <strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Paul Cheesman, director at Tribune Trust will be holding 1:1 30-minute appointment slots with anyone considering applying for Tribune Trust funding.\u00a0 See more below about the Tribune Trust specifically<\/p>\n<p><strong>Crime Reduction Fund Funding Surgery<\/strong><br \/>\nTuesday 26th July Richard Wendel-Jones<\/p>\n<p>Again, appointments with Richard to discuss this new fund administered by VANEL and launching properly at the start of July.\u00a0 If you are interested in the CRF there will be a chance to talk this through with Richard on the 25th.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gary Allen Funding Surgery<\/strong><br \/>\nTuesday 26th July<\/p>\n<p>Experienced Funding Officer Gary Allen will be back at VANEL on Wednesday 26th July for another day of 1 to 1 appointments.\u00a0 Each one hour slot allows you to cover a range of funding questions and options with advice from Gary. The sessions a priced at \u00a320 per slot for VANEL member organisations and \u00a330 per slot for non-members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Booking:<\/strong><br \/>\nAll the appointments on 25th and 26th July are free with the exception of Gary Allen&#8217;s funding surgery, and all are by appointment only.\u00a0 VANEL member organisations get preference so non-member organisations can book but will be put on a waiting list until a few days before the event before appointments can be confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>In all cases contact Helen Pickett at VANEL via <a href=\"mailto:helen@vanel.org.uk\">helen@vanel.org.uk<\/a> or 01472 315437 to reserve your slot.<\/p>\n<p>Book now to avoid disappointment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Tribune Trust<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High Sheriffs are the Sovereign\u2019s representative for all matters relating to the Judiciary and the maintenance of law and order in their county. Our Patrons are the Lord Lieutenants of the county of the East Riding of Yorkshire and the county of Lincolnshire. Our Trustees are serving, former and future High Sheriffs of these counties together with leaders from local businesses and Humberside Police; Humberside Fire and Rescue Service and others involved with community safety.<\/p>\n<p>The Trust\u2019s steering group meets to consider grant applications in January, May, July and October each year. It is led by a Chair and coordinated by the Director, each of whom is elected annually (currently Paul Cheesman).
