They&#8217;re offering pledges of up to \u00a32,500 and \u00a315,000 to individuals and organisations respectively.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spacehive.com\/movement\/BarclaysLifeSkills\">Barclays Life Skills<\/a>\u00a0is using Spacehive and crowdfunding to get young people running campaigns that develop skills including marketing, writing press releases, creating videos, and pitching to local businesses. If your team includes young people between the ages of 16 and 24, you could earn a pledge of up to \u00a3500 to bring your arts\u00a0project to life. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spacehive.com\/Profile\/MakeHull\/funds\/MakeHullPioneersFund\">The #MakeHull initiative<\/a>\u00a0aims to make Hull a city to be proud of, a great place to live and to visit, by supporting arts and cultural projects in the city. They&#8217;re offering pledges of up to \u00a35,000 to suitable projects; and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spacehive.com\/Profile\/LewishamHomes\/funds\/CommunityFund\">Lewisham Homes<\/a>\u00a0will pledge up to \u00a35,000 to support projects in the area that will benefit Lewisham residents or groups.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.northsearegion.eu\/project-information\/calls-for-applications\/fourth-call-july-august-2017\/\"><strong>Fourth Round of North Sea Region Funding (UK)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The North Sea Region Programme 2014 &#8211; 2020 has announced that the fourth call for proposals will open for applications in July 2017. Partnerships made up of at least two organisations from the programme area (Norway and Denmark, eastern parts of the United Kingdom, the Flemish Region of Belgium, northwest Germany, north and west Netherlands, south western Sweden) can apply for up to 50% of a project&#8217;s cost. UK local, regional and national authorities, NGOs, research institutions, universities and private partners can apply for funding that meet the four priorities of the programme. These are supporting growth in North Sea Region economies; eco-innovation; protecting against climate change and preserving the environment; and promoting green transport and mobility.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lordstaverners.org\/outdoor-play-spaces-lords-taverners\"><strong>Funding for Outdoor Play Spaces (UK)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Through the programme, special schools catering for children with severe learning and physical disabilities can apply for a range of outdoor play equipment packages provided through a partnership between the Lords Taverners and a playground equipment manufacturer. Since 2009 the Lord&#8217;s Taverners has provided outdoor play equipment to 83 special schools, benefiting nearly 8,000 pupils. The Lords Taverners will provide a grant that will cover up to 80% (of the net cost) of outdoor play equipment and the maximum value of the equipment applied for can be \u00a325,000. Applications received by the 30 June 2917 will be reviewed during early July and applications received by the 31st August will be reviewed during early September. For further details please contact Zoe Stevens on <a href=\"tel:020%207025%200016\">020 7025 0016<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ico.org.uk\/about-the-ico\/what-we-do\/grants-programme\/\"><strong>Funding to Support Independent Research into Privacy and Data Protection Issues (UK)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Information Commissioner&#8217;s Office is inviting organisations to bid for funding to support independent research into privacy and data protection issues and develop privacy enhancing solutions. Academic institutions, civil society groups and trade and industry associations, etc will be able to apply for grants of between \u00a320,000 and \u00a3100,000 to promote good practice &#8211; to support independent, innovative research and solutions focused on privacy and data protection issues.\u00a0 A webinar discussing the programme in more detail will also take place from 2pm-3pm on Thursday 15 June. You can <a href=\"https:\/\/register.gotowebinar.com\/register\/3583098771214513666\">register to take part here<\/a>.\u00a0 The deadline for applications is 5pm on the 28th July 2017.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wolfson.org.uk\/funding\/education\/secondary-education\/\"><strong>Wolfson Foundation&#8217;s Secondary Education Programme (UK)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The next deadline for stage 1 application to the Wolfson Foundation&#8217;s Secondary Education Programme is the 10th January 2018. Through its Secondary Education Programme high-achieving (in receipt of an outstanding Ofsted assessment or regional equivalent) state-funded schools and sixth form colleges can apply to the Foundation for funding for capital or equipment projects relating to the teaching of science and technology; or projects involving libraries, languages, music or the arts. Grants do not normally exceed \u00a350,000 for schools or \u00a3100,000 for sixth form colleges. Applicants successful at the stage 1 of the application process will be invited to submit a stage 2 application. Examples of schools that have received funding through the Foundation include Cheadle Hulme High School, Cheshire, which received a grant of \u00a346,000 for A Level science equipment and Arthur Mellows Village College, Peterborough, received a grant of \u00a340,000 for the refurbishment of two science IT classrooms.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wolfson.org.uk\/funding\/health-and-disability\/\"><strong>Wolfson Foundation \u2013 Health and Disability Grants Programme (UK)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Wolfson Foundation has announced that the next closing date for stage 1 applications to its Health and Disability Grants Programme is the 1st July 2017. Through the programme, the Wolfson Foundation provides grants of between \u00a315,000 and \u00a3100,000 for new buildings, refurbishments and equipment for a range of organisations delivering excellent care and support. This funding tends to focus on enhancing care, providing better opportunities and improving quality of life. The Foundation has awarded over \u00a335 million to more than 200 different organisations over the last ten years. The Foundation&#8217;s funding in this area is focussed on three themes: Palliative Care and Hospices; Older People; and Transitions and Independence.
