The Lincolnshire Community Foundation is delighted to report that we\u2019ve received a further donation from the Cornish family and are able to offer grants of up to \u00a35,000.00 to community groups operating in Greater Lincolnshire.\u00a0 Applicants can ask for a contribution towards costs of delivering support for people with mental health problems; projects that help older people live independently or stimulate activity for them; support for prisoners and their families; practical support for homeless people; dementia support; activities for people with disabilities; food larders; bereavement care etc.\u00a0 They would also welcome bids that deal with food security (seed swaps, community growing projects, education about food sovereignty and sustainability)<\/p>\n
The family will consider re-applications, although priority may be given to groups that have yet to secure grant funding.<\/p>\n
Eligible groups are not for profit community groups that have a governing document, accounts, bank account and relevant policies and procedures. \u00a0New groups can also apply for start-up funding.<\/p>\n
